Police are investigating the shooting death of a 17-year-old boy. Police say Patrick Parker was killed in a drive-by shooting that happened early on Sunday morning off Highway 51 on West 21st Street. The Tulsa County Sheriffs Office is interviewing witnesses. No arrests have been made.
Neighbors say they think the shooting was revenge for a fight that started on Saturday afternoon. Police say at least eight rounds were fired into the house. Parker was shot once in the chest, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Parker did not live in the house off of Highway 51. He was visiting a friend for a weekend party. Witnesses say after the party on Saturday afternoon there was a fight involving some teenagers and their parents.
The Sheriff's Department says money over the party's liquor tab could have also played a role in the fight.
The Sheriff's Department has detained several people for questioning. Deputies tell The News On 6 they know who the shooter is. They're just being as thorough as possible in their investigation.
