A Tulsa apartment complex sustained about $100,000 in damage due to a fire Thursday afternoon.
Tulsa Fire officials say the fire started in a vacant second story apartment and spread into the building's attic.
Upon arrival, firefighters were able to quickly knock down the blaze and evacuate the building located near 62nd and Memorial.
About 20 apartment units in the building sustained damage from the fire. The Red Cross is helping 9 families who are now homeless because of the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
