Shooting Victim Identified

Tulsa Police have identified the victim in a fatal weekend shooting. Police say the victim is 22-year-old Ociel Sanchez. The shooting happened Sunday morning at an apartment complex near 33rd and Mingo.

The shooting is Tulsa's third homicide of the year. Police say Sanchez had gone outside to take out trash when he got into an argument with a man who then shot him in the torso.

Police say Sanchez went back to his apartment where family member waited about an hour before they called for help. Sanchez died at the apartment. Police say it seemed the family didn't know to call 911 for help.

The suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 23 years of age with an acne scarred face. Police say the suspect was last seen wearing a black or navy blue hoodie, khaki pants and white tennis shoes.
