Overnight Traffic Accidents

A traffic accident overnight involving a Tulsa Police officer lands a woman in custody.  It happened just east of Memorial on 21st street. 

A van driving eastbound in the westbound lane hit a police officer's car.  The woman says she fell asleep at the wheel.  She was given a field sobriety test, but the results were inconclusive. 

No one was hurt. 

And another traffic accident overnight has authorities searching for a suspect Monday morning.  The driver of a Chevy Tahoe was going north on U.S. Highway 169. 

The vehicle missed the I-244 exit ramp and hit the wall.  The SUV came to a rest in the road. 

When Tulsa Police arrived the driver was nowhere to be found. 

Items in the car lead police officers to believe the driver was an illegal alien.
