OCU Student Arrested For Kidnapping Girlfriend

An Oklahoma Christian University student is in serious trouble with the law.  20-year-old Grant Phillips is charged with kidnapping, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony. 

Edmond Police say Phillips had two armed men kidnap and rob him and his ex-girlfriend last month.  Officers say it was Phillips' way to win her heart back. 

"The victim here is the young lady, she had no idea what was going on. He was trying to be the big hero in this and hopefully she would reconsider," said Edmond Police officer Glynda Chu. 

Phillips now faces criminal charges. 

Edmond Police are still looking for his two accomplices.
