Police Chase Ends With Arrest

A high speed chase ends with a crash early Wednesday.  A little after one o'clock, Sapulpa Police tried to make a routine stop near the Town West Shopping Center.  The driver of the vehicle sped off and after going several miles he hit a curb near 21st and Southwest Boulevard.  That caused the driver to lose control and his vehicle hit a building. 

A female passenger told police she tried to get out of the car, but the driver wouldn't let her.  She was not arrested. 

The unidentified male driver was arrested for various traffic violations. 

Sapulpa Police say there also were drugs found in the vehicle.
