A homecoming for airmen returning from Iraq was held on Monday. In all, 41 members of the 34th Combat Communications Squadron arrived at Will Rogers Airport on Sunday and Monday. The 34th is based at Tinker Air Force Base and has been providing computer network support for the last four months in Iraq.

"It's never really easy. It's just, you just gotta learn the tricks that help time go and get through it," said Staff Sgt. James Payne.

"But we've been down this road before, and this, to me, makes it all worth it. That minute when you see him come off the plane and you're all excited, it makes up for all the nights you were alone, and all the tantrums and stuff like that," said Payne's wife, Nicole.

About 40 reservists with the 507th Security Forces Squadron, also out of Tinker, left for Iraq on Thursday.
