Tulsa Police have made an arrest in Tulsa's latest murder. Twenty-one-year-old Matthew Young is jailed in connection to the death of 21-year-old Jared Harris. Harris was found dead in his apartment at the Village East Apartments on East 22nd Street near Garnett Avenue on Wednesday. Police say his throat had been cut.

Tulsa Police Records say Young had been staying with Jared Harris. Young reportedly told investigators the two got into a fight. He said Harris pulled a knife. Young allegedly took the knife away and then used it to stab Harris in the chest and throat. He then reportedly staged the crime scene to look like a burglary.

Officers were called to Harrisâ€™s apartment by a co-worker who came to check on Harris and found the apartment door open with the victimâ€™s body inside.

Harrisâ€™s death is Tulsaâ€™s 60th homicide of the year.
