STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ The Oklahoma State Cowboys open the college basketball season Friday with a team much different from the one that ended last season.

OSU has seven new players when they host Prairie View A&M at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Among the returning players are guards Byron Eaton, Terrell Harris and Obi Muonelo and forward Marcus Dove while the top newcomers include freshmen James Anderson and Ibrahima Thomas.

Tip-off for Friday's game is 8:30.
