UNDATED (AP) -- Say goodbye to Oklahoma's mild autumn weather. The coldest air so far this season will descend upon parts of the state Monday night. The National Weather Service has issued a freeze watch for parts of the state.
Forecasters say a cold front will move through the state on Monday with strong north winds and cooler temperatures.
Winds will diminish Monday night with freezing temperatures possible over much of northwest, north central and northeastern Oklahoma by early Tuesday morning.
The watch area covers 15 counties in northwestern and north central Oklahoma and six others in northeastern Oklahoma. Lows from the upper 20s to the lower 30s are likely in the areas.
