FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) _ Arkansas guard Patrick Beverley was a preseason first-team All-SEC selection by league coaches, and the Razorbacks led the league with four players on the first and second teams.
Beverley led the Razorbacks with 13.9 points per game as a freshman last season.
The coaches' picks were released Wednesday. Swingman Sonny Weems, forward Charles Thomas and center Steven Hill were on the second team. The first team included eight players and the second team had 10.
