STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma State defensive end Nathan Peterson is being added to the watch list for this year's Ted Hendricks Award.

The award is named for NFL Hall of Famer Ted Hendricks and is given to the top defensive end in college football each year.

Peterson has 27 tackles so far this season and two quarterback sacks.

The watch list now has 37 players, which will be cut to six finalists in November.
