NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma running back DeMarco Murray says he's "better" after suffering a slight knee sprain during the Texas game.

Murray played only sparingly last week against Missouri and says the knee was hurting but is now improving.

Chris Brown moved up as the primary backup to starter Allen Patrick and rushed for 67 yards and three touchdowns against the Tigers.

OU travels to Iowa State for a Saturday morning game this week.
