A Rogers County family is thrilled about a new baby and a special distinction. Elizabeth Kay Ward was born in Claremore on Tuesday to Derek Ward and Cassie Lingenfelter. Elizabeth weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces.

Mom and dad are proud, and so is the extended family. Elizabeth is the 6th generation on her dad's side.

Elizabeth was surrounded in the hospital by mom and dad and her grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and great-great-great grandmother.

"She won't ever have to worry about not having a babysitter. And she definitely won't go hungry. You know how grandma's are," said great grandmother Jeannie Rabbit.

Elizabeth's great-great-great grandmother is 98 years old. Elnora Henry has 21 grandchildren, 20 grandchildren, but Elizabeth is the first great-great-great grandchild.
