NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Malcolm Kelly has a point to prove.
It wasn't just willy-nilly that he crossed the state line to play at Oklahoma, spurning his home state Longhorns and choosing not to follow his brother to the University of Texas.
Kelly says the main reason he came to Oklahoma was because Oklahoma had won five games in a row against the Longhorns.
But the Sooners haven't beat Texas in the last two years.
Kelly has an extra reason to be fired up for this week's game against the Number 19 Longhorns (4-1, 0-1). For the first time since he emerged as Oklahoma's top receiver midway through his freshman season in 2005, Kelly played a full game without a reception in the 27-24 loss at Colorado last week that dropped the Sooners to Number Ten.
The only other game when he didn't have a catch was Oklahoma's 43-42 loss to Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl this January, when a knee injury knocked him out of the game early.
