Flu shots are now available in Green Country. The Visiting Nurse Association started their annual flu vaccine program on Monday.

As long as stock lasts, anyone wanting a flu shot can visit the Visiting Nurse Association facility Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., without an appointment. They are located in the Fontana Center at 51st and Memorial.

It's recommended children 6-months to 5-years-old and senior citizens over 60 are vaccinated annually. Flu shots are $28 dollars, pneumonia shots are $45.
