PROVO, Utah (AP) _ Air Force's unbeaten start in football has ended.
Max Hall passed for 293 yards and two touchdowns as Brigham Young handed the Falcons their first loss under new coach Troy Calhoun with a 31-6 win in Utah today.
Harvey Unga ran for 111 yards and caught a touchdown pass and Manase Tonga scored on two short runs for the Cougars.
BYU won its fourth straight against the Falcons, who were trying to open the Mountain West season by beating the last three conference champions. Air Force already had wins over Utah and TCU.
Shaun Carney passed for 98 yards and scored Air Force's only touchdown on an eight-yard option run late in the third quarter after BYU was up 24-0.
