Grand Lake authorities are searching Monday for a possible drowning victim. GRDA spokesperson Justin Alberty confirms GRDA Lake Patrol got a report of a drowning Sunday night in the Grand Lake Towne area of the lake. The Grand Lake Towne area is near Ketchum.
Alberty says the GRDA Lake Patrol has identified the possible victim as 22-year-old Matthew Hinson of Tulsa. Friends told the Lake Patrol Hinson fell off the back of a sailboat about 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Lake Patrol began a search of the area but it was called off at midnight. The search resumed Monday morning.
