A 5-year-old Tulsa boy was taken to a Tulsa hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a SUV. The accident happened Sunday afternoon near 21st and Memorial. Tulsa Police say the boy was riding a bicycle in the street when he was struck by a SUV.
The driver of the SUV told police officers, the boy rode a bicycle into the path of his vehicle, leaving him no room to stop his vehicle.
Tulsa Police arrested the driver of the SUV, 23-year-old Darvin Ramirez on a complaint of DUI and booked him into the Tulsa County jail.
