Tulsa Police make an arrest in an unusual armed robbery case overnight. It happened around 1 a.m. Thursday at the McDonald's near 71st and Mingo.

Police say a man walked up to the drive through and asked for a glass of water. Employees told the man they did not serve people who were not in cars at the drive-thru. The suspect gave them a $50 bill, after more discussion demanded his money back, and threatened to shoot the employees. The money was handed over and Tulsa Police were called.

Police say the suspect was still standing at the drive-thru window when officers arrived.

The suspect was taken to the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of attempted armed robbery.
