Toddler Found Unconscious In A Pool Dies

An 18-month old is found unconscious in a swimming pool, said authorities. Around 8 p.m. Sunday, police and emergency crews responded to a home near Fir and El Paso in Broken Arrow. Police say the Xander Cole Cleary was taken by helicopter to a Tulsa hospital where the he later died.

Police say the child apparently got out of the house and fell into the pool. Authorities are still investigating the incident, but say it appears to be an accident.

The toddler will be buried on Wednesday. The family has set up the Xander Cole Cleary Memorial Fund. If youâ€™d like to donate you can do so at any Bank of Oklahoma location.
