Mud dumped on a Tulsa highway caused a traffic backup on U.S. Highway 169 Thursday afternoon. Tulsa Police say a northbound city of Tulsa public works truck dumped a load of mud onto the highway over 41st Street.

Police say two motorcyclists behind the truck hit the mud causing them to slide. Tulsa Police shut down all but one lane of northbound U.S. Highway 169 over 41st Street while Tulsa Fire crews washed down the highway.

Neither of the motorcyclists were injured in the mishap.
