TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Tulsa football coach Todd Graham and the Golden Hurricane players say they're ready for Thursday night's season opener at Louisiana-Monroe.

TU wrapped up preparations for the Warhawks with a final 90 minute practice Tuesday afternoon and Graham says he's been looking forward for a long time to his first game as TU head coach.

And linebacker Chris Chamberlain says this year's opener has been on the player's minds since last year.

Kickoff is at 6 p.m. Thursday with the game to be televised by ESPN-2.
