STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy is reducing the length of practices to two hours 15 minutes to give the Cowboys a chance to rest before the Georgia game Saturday.
Gundy says the players need a chance to get their legs back even though he thinks the Cowboys still need three or four practices.
Meanwhile defensive coordinator Tim Beckman says he'll be ready to play as many players as possible during the first quarter.
Beckman says he's learned that when heat is a factor the team has to play a lot of players early so they're still fresh during the fourth quarter.
