A 2-year-old Payne County girl is in critical condition after allegedly being beaten by her mother's boyfriend. Payne County Sheriff's deputies say Eric Dustin Hillhouse was watching the girl while her mother was at work when the incident happened.

Hillhouse is being held on a child abuse complaint.
