BROOKLYN, Mich. (AP) _ Rain has pushed back Monday's scheduled noon start of the 3M Performance 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

NASCAR and track officials say they will meet at 11:30 a.m. Sunday's rains forced NASCAR to postpone the race until today.

More rain is in the forecast and there is the possibility drivers will not get on the track again until Tuesday morning at the earliest.

The National Weather Service was calling for a 40% chance of rain tomorrow and 30%on Wednesday.

The Cup transporters are due in Bristol, Tennessee, on Thursday afternoon to set up for Saturday night's Sharpie 500.

The Michigan race is one of four remaining events scheduled prior to the start of the ten-race Chase for the championship.
