OKMULGEE, Okla. (AP) _ A Texas man is dead after the pickup truck he was driving collided with a tractor-trailer rig on U.S. Highway 75 north of Okmulgee. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Richard Michael Swager of Waco died in the crash Sunday afternoon.
Troopers say Swager was southbound when he lost control of his truck and it cross the median into northbound traffic.
Investigators say the driver of the semi swerved and Swager's pickup crashed into the rear dual axle of the tractor-trailer.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
