VERA, Okla. (AP) -- A woman is dead following a two-car collision on a county road in southern Washington County late Thursday night. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Ashley Sue Hicks of Ramona died after the crash near Vera.
Troopers say Hicks was eastbound when a westbound pickup truck crossed the center line at the top of a hill and crashed into her car.
Hicks was flown to a Tulsa hospital by a helicopter where she later died. The driver of the pickup is hospitalized in fair condition.
