BOULDER, Colo. (AP) _ The University of Colorado held a football scrimmage Sunday in Boulder.

Patrick Williams caught two touchdown passes from redshirt freshman quarterback Cody Hawkins, and the offense scored TDs on five of its 14 drives.

Freshman receiver Kendrick Celestine ran an end-around for a 5-yard touchdown, freshman Josh Smith caught a 54-yard touchdown pass from junior Nick Nelson, and sophomore fullback Jake Behrens scored on a 4-yard pass from freshman Matt Ballenger.

Nelson conducted six drives, and Hawkins and Ballenger each led four drives. Offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich says Nelson and Hawkins have been about even with each other this fall.

The team practices again Monday.
