With back-to-school on their minds, hundreds of families scooped up really big bargains in Broken Arrow Saturday. Everything was free!
Heritage United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow hosted the free garage sale. It was all made possible thanks to a lot of donations from church members and the community.
People could find everything from shoes and toys to household items, even groceries and gasoline.
"We had a riding lawn mower that went just like that this morning,†church member Kelley Cole said. “We have also lots of furniture, we had a five piece bedroom set, the appliances have gone quickly and there's three or four rooms of clothes are going as well."
As if that wasn't enough free stuff lunch was also included. The church served up hot dogs for bargain hunters. And that wasn’t the end of the free swag at Heritage United Methodist Church. While shoppers ate the Broken Arrow church set up a free car wash.
