STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- A woman involved in an auto accident with former Oklahoma State basketball coach Eddie Sutton in February 2006 is now suing Sutton and OSU.

The lawsuit by Teresa Barnard says Sutton was negligent for driving drunk and that OSU was negligent for letting Sutton drive.

A blood test found Sutton's blood alcohol concentration was 0.22, nearly three times the legal limit.

Sutton later pleaded no contest to charges of aggravated drunken driving, speeding and driving left of center. He was fined, ordered to pay restitution to Barnard and placed on probation for a year.

The charge against Sutton was dismissed in May of this year after a judge determined the former coach had successfully completed terms of his probation.
