SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- Terrell Owens wasn't on the field when the Dallas Cowboys practiced Sunday.

There was no immediate word from the team about why he missed the workout.

Owens had taken part in four straight workouts since resting his sore legs and hamstrings. He went through drills full speed without any apparent problems during workouts Thursday through Saturday.

Coach Wade Phillips had said there could more rest for the 33-year-old Owens, but had given no previous indication that he would be off today.
