MIAMI, Okla. (AP) -- The name of a teenager killed when his pickup plunged off a bridge and onto the Will Rogers Turnpike has been released.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 17-year-old Nathanial Wright of Miami died in the crash just after 12:15 a.m. Sunday.

Troopers say Wright was westbound on a county road just south of Miami when he hit a bridge abutment and ran off the bridge overpass.

The pickup then fell about 18 and a half feet onto the Will Rogers Turnpike.
