TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Tulsa's returning varsity football players reported to practice Tuesday to begin preparations for the upcoming season, the Golden Hurricane's first under new head coach Todd Graham.

TU welcomed its newcomers to campus Monday. Practice will begin Wednesday and the Golden Hurricane will open their season August 30th at Louisiana-Monroe.

TU expects to have 104 players at camp this week, including 68 varsity returnees and 36 newcomers, of which 13 are walk-ons.

TU went 8-and-5 last season and played in the Armed Forces Bowl. It was TU's third bowl appearance during the past four seasons.

Players for Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are scheduled to report for their respective preseason camps Wednesday.
