An air quality alert has been issued for our part of the state. The four counties in the alert area are Tulsa, Rogers, Wagoner and Okmulgee. The Department of Environmental Quality says fine particulate pollution prompted the advisory. It’s typically just blowing dust.
The DEQ recommends people with cardiovascular or lung disease, older adults and children stay indoors and avoid heavy traffic areas.
