LITTLE ROCK (AP) _ Searchers still haven't found a small plane that disappeared while flying from Big Cedar in southeast Oklahoma to Mena, Arkansas. The single-engine home-built aircraft vanished on Friday with one person aboard. Civil Air Patrol spokesman Major Blake Sasse says five Arkansas aircraft are searching in an area northwest, west and southwest of Mena, Arkansas.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified the pilot as Curtis Leroy Hazen, of Muse in southern LeFlore County.

Sasse says the mountainous terrain is making the search a challenge. He says searchers will calculate how effective their passes over certain areas have been and will narrow the search area accordingly.
