EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) -- Sebastien Bourdais has regained control of the Champ Car title chase by winning the Grand Prix of Edmonton.
Bourdais had failed to finish two of his previous three races and found himself in third place in the points standings before winning for the first time in four starts. He beat defending champ Justin Wilson by three-point-nine seconds to take a 21-point lead over Robert Doornbos.
Rookies Graham Rahal and Simon Pagenaud were third and fourth, followed by Paul Tracy.
