SKIATOOK, Okla. (AP) -- Two people are injured in a collision on Skiatook Lake in northeastern Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the accident happened about 7:15 p.m. Saturday about one-half mile east of Skiatook Point and three-quarters-of-a-mile south of Skiatook Dam.
Troopers say a ski boat driven by 39-year-old Steven M. Kisler of Tulsa was northbound on the lake, while a personal water craft driven by 13-year-old Jacob H. Wall of Fort Gibson was eastbound while Wall was jumping boat wakes.
Troopers say Wall's water craft ran in front of Kisler's ski boat and they collided, ejecting Kisler, Wall and Wall's passenger, 13-year-old Joshua R. Cude of Collinsville.
All three were pulled from the water before authorities arrived. Troopers cited "wreckless operation" as the cause of collision.
Kisler refused treatment. Wall was taken by ambulance to a Tulsa hospital with head, arm and leg injuries, while Cude was treated and released at a Tulsa hospital.
