SILVIS, Ill. (AP) _ One current and one former Oklahoma State golfer began Friday five shots off the lead of the PGA's John Deere Classic in Silvis, Illinois.
OSU's Jonathan Moore and former Cowboy Chris Tidland each shot a 1st round 1-under 69 and are in a large group tied for 33rd.
Moore is competing as an amateur.
Neal Lancaster leads at 7-under, 64.
Former Oklahoma golfer Todd Hamilton was at even-par, 71, while former Sooner Glen Day shot 4-over. Former Cowboy Bob Tway was at 6-over.
