PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Portland Trail Blazers rookie Greg Oden has signed his first NBA contract.

The first overall pick in last week's NBA draft gets a two-year deal with a third-year option under the NBA's collective bargaining agreement. He will make just over $8 million over the first two seasons.

Oden immediately started working out with the other players on Portland's summer league roster.
