OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Authorities say it was 16-year-old twin sisters who were trapped in a car on a flooded low-water bridge in northwest Oklahoma City. Firefighters rescued Lauren and Lindsey Penn from the car as water spilled over the bridge that forms a dam at Ski Island Lake in a residential section of northwest Oklahoma City.
Deputy Fire Chief Tony Young says both girls are in good condition.
The two were rescued one at a time by a firefighter in a boat that was secured with four ropes and about five firefighters on the shore manning the ropes.
