KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. (AP) -- Two players from Oklahoma and one from Oklahoma State are among those receiving consideration for this year's Maxwell Award.
Sooners running back Allen Patrick and wide receiver Malcolm Kelly join Oklahoma State wide receiver Adarius Bowman on the list of 65 players on the watch list for the award given to the college football player of the year.
Patrick ran for 761 yards and four touchdowns last season while replacing injured tailback Adrian Peterson. Kelly caught 62 passes for 993 yards and ten touchdowns before injuring his knee in the Fiesta Bowl.
Bowman was Oklahoma State's top receiver with 11-hundred-81 yards on 60 catches. He had the second-most receiving yards in the Big 12.
