OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- An interactive web site is now running to help people trying to quit smoking. The site was set up for callers to the Oklahoma Tobacco Helpline and is in addition to the free coaching sessions available to those who call the telephone service for help.
The free web site, offers personal tracking tools and discussion forums. Persons calling the helpline will be encouraged to go to the web site between telephone coaching sessions. The only way to access the web site is by calling the Oklahoma Tobacco Helpline.
The services are paid for by the Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust with money from the tobacco settlement.
