CARNATION, Wash. (AP) -- Authorities are trying to determine what led to the killings of six people, thought to be three generations of a family, found dead on a rural property east of Seattle, Washington.

A law enforcement official says police have arrested the property owner's daughter and her boyfriend. The suspects have been booked into the King County Jail for investigation of six counts of homicide.

Sheriff's detectives say the victims include a boy about 3 years old, a girl about 6, a man and a woman in their 30s and a man and a woman in their 50s.

Sheriff's officials say a 911 call was made from the house Christmas Eve, but was hung up after about 10 seconds. The operator reported hearing "a lot of yelling in the background." Deputies went to the scene, but stopped at a locked gate.

Investigators say the suspects came to the crime scene after investigators arrived there Wednesday, were questioned by investigators, then arrested later. No motive has been determined.
