Tulsa police are looking for the men who robbed the Popeye's Chicken on East Pine a few weeks ago. They gave the surveillance video of the crime to News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright. The men showed up at the restaurant at 1117 E. Pine on December 1st, just before 11 p.m. It was closing time and employees were getting things ready for the next day's business.
"Employees were preparing to take the trash out and were confronted by four suspects and herded back into the store and the manager was forced to open the safe," said TPD Officer Leland Ashley.
The robbers were wearing ski masks and carrying guns. Police still hope someone knows who they are because the quality of the surveillance video is so good.
"When they left, they got into a 2000-2002 extended cab Chevy pickup," said Officer Ashley.
The truck might have been silver. The robbers included one white male and three black males.
