A man is dead following an accident involving a dump truck. The accident happened near 4600 N. Mingo just before 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, said police. The victim, who has not been identified, was southbound on north Mingo when he tried to turn right on a red light, police said. A dump truck driving 55 miles per hour struck the car. The driver of the car died at the scene.
Tulsa Police tell The News On 6 that the dump truck had the right of way. The accident is under investigation.
