Tulsa Police are looking for a suspect in connection with the armed robbery at a credit union Monday afternoon. The call went out just before 3 o'clock Monday afternoon for the Communication Federal Credit Union at 5970 E. 31st Street.
The suspect went into the financial institution brandishing a black semi-automatic handgun and demanding cash, according to Sergeant David Walker of the Tulsa Police Department. He demanded tellers "place large bills on the counter," Sergeant David Walker said.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5'07" and weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a gray stocking cap with sunglasses and a yellow cloth covering his mouth. The bandit is wearing blue sweat pants and white tennis shoes.
No injuries were reported. Two customers and five employees were present during the robbery. Tulsa Police say this robbery resembles the Credit Union Service Center robbery at 6105 S. Mingo on November 13, 2007.
