U.S. Marshals Arrest Sex Offender

A sex offender wanted in Rhode Island is captured in Tulsa. U.S. Marshals in Tulsa arrested Michelle Lee Perkins Thursday night. The 37-year-old woman was on Rhode Islandâ€™s Most Wanted list. Michelle Lee Perkins was wanted for two counts of sex offender registration violation and violation of probation for two counts of 2nd degree child molestation.

Police say that while Perkins has been living in Tulsa, she tried to hide her identity by using various aliases and, at one point, she is suspected of taking over the identity of an elderly woman.

Michelle Lee Perkins is expected to be extradited to Rhode Island next month.
