Woman Senteced For Bilking Senior Citizen

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - An Oklahoma County woman accused of stealing thousands of dollars from an elderly woman she was caring for is being sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to caretaker abuse.

Linda Kay Sixkiller is also being ordered to repay $69,000 to the 67-year-old victim as part of a plea deal with prosecutors.

Court documents say Sixkiller, her two sons and her son-in-law spent more than $45,000 of the woman's money. A car loan in the victim's name could cost her another $30,000.

Sixkiller's son Beau has also pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a boot camp-style program while son-in-law John Mosher is serving four years in prison after also pleading guilty.
