The Oklahoma Fit Kids Coalition honors a Tulsa elementary school for its new program aimed at getting kids in shape. Anderson Elementary's Eat, Exercise, Excel program is honored by the group. The school is located at 1921 East 29th Street North.

Anderson students traded traditional recess for 30 minutes of healthy activity time every day. The Oklahoma Fit Kids Coalition gave the school its state award. They'll be honored at the University of Central Oklahoma next month.
